Things as usual are crazy busy! I've wanted to let everyone know about the statistics of all the tornado relief work Brian has figured and well, that requires Brian and I sitting down and doing it! Since we moved in our house 4 years ago we, like anyone else who moves into an older home, have a list of things that need, or we would like, to be done. On the top of my list is a new kitchen floor. One of the 1st things we did was rip up 3 layers of linoleum down to a layer of poplar boards that sit on top of the sub floor. That has been my kitchen floor for 4 years. It is gross. You can't clean unfinished wood. So...as a birthday present we went down to Mazers and bought ceramic tile. (I LOVE Mazers! You might as well say we almost got it for free!) Its been sitting in our basement for months. Long story short, a woman I've never met shows up at our door while Brian was in the Bahama's doing relief work from the last hurricane, and said she heard we needed tile put in our kitchen. She wouldn't tell me who sent them so if that person ever by chance reads this....I LOVE YOU! ;0) So today Brian is working on getting the floor ready for her to come lay the tile. I can't wait!! I say all this to say...several things have come up that are keeping us busy. I promise the next time I write it will have more "meat" in it, lol. I just didn't want anyone to think I had forgotten, or wouldn't write anymore.
Also, we do have a website. The reason I started this is because Brian hasn't had time to update it but it does have pictures and some information that could be helpful. It is www.cowboyandcourtney.org. Hopefully between the two of us we can keep people informed. Hope everyone is doing well and thanks for reading!!
